On March 15-16, 2014 in Moscow, at IEC “Crocus Expo” there were more than 700 exhibition stands of companies and organizations, as well as national expositions of a number of countries at the IX International Travel Fair «Intourmarket-2014», which this year covers more than 29,000 square metres.
The exposition of Russian regions at the exhibition strikes by the range and beauty of the exhibition stands. Within the frame of the republic’s participation at stand 4D601 with the space of 80 sq m the Committee on Tourism of Dagestan presented tourist and recreational potential of Dagestan.
All construction works were carried out by the Negus Expo Company specialists. The design of the exposition focused on Naryn-Kala Fortress in anticipation of the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the city of Derbent.
The UNWTO head, Taleb Rifai, Minister of Tourism of Egypt, Khisham Zazu, head of Rosturism, Alexander Radkov, the Altai Region Governor, Alexander Karlin, and head of Moscomturism and Chairman of Russian Union of Tourist Industry, Sergey Shpilko, already visited the exposition of Dagestan.
